DC Jalandhar Mr Ghanshyam Thori briefs about the latest situation on Covid-19 and said that the district administration is giving major focus on saving the precious lives of people from the pandemic. He also shares the details of co-morbidities of 63 fatalities reported in Jalandhar including diabetes, hypertension diabetes with hypertension, chronic kidney diseases, coronary artery disease and others. He appeals those having such co-morbidities to come forward for testing without taking any risk. He also explains about the level-1, level-II and level-III facilities along with beds, beds with piped oxygen supply and ICU beds with or without ventilators. He said if any Jalandhar resident wants to go to private hospital then it is requested he or she check on Jalandhar.nic.in or may call on 0181-2224417 to check about bed availability so that there is no wastage of time in starting treatment.
